Counter butcher — Morrow County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a counter butcher in Morrow County, Ohio. You will be based at a halal meat counter. On a typical shift you will keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers Full-time, day shift.
