Commis chef wanted in Arlington County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a commis chef in Arlington County, Virginia. You will be based at a busy restaurant kitchen. The role involves: • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in • Follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch Ideal candidate: • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies Six days a week, one day off.
