Vacancy available: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Trinity County, California. The job is on a bridge and flyover project. Ideal candidate: • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites The role involves check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
