Now hiring: we are hiring an excavator operator in Yakima County, Washington. The job is in an open-cast quarry. You should have: • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site The role involves lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly; excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs; work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance; swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger.
