Now hiring: earthmoving equipment operator (Texas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in Crane County, Texas. You will be based at an open-cast mine. Requirements: • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes Your main tasks: • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction 4+ years on the tools preferred.
