Now hiring: we are hiring a commis chef in Alkaleri, Bauchi State. You will work in a catering banquet kitchen. The role involves follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces; follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO; prepare the mise en place before each service; knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha. Requirements: • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure Pay around ₦1,100 per hour, based on your experience.
