Immediate opening: we are hiring a powder spray gun operator in Williamson County, Texas. You will be based at an automotive components factory. Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process Your main tasks: • Sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns • Keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well • Record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness • Set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
