Shuttering carpenter • Maiyama, Kebbi State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Maiyama, Kebbi State. The job is at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. Day to day you will measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops; read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain. Requirements: • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • Good eye for detail and a clean finish At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
