Foundry labourer — Pasco County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Pasco County, Florida. The job is at a brass and bronze foundry. Day to day you will check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch. You should have: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts 2+ years on the tools preferred. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
