Immediate opening: we are hiring a short order cook in Aitkin County, Minnesota. What we are looking for: • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets The role involves taste and adjust seasoning for consistency; follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch.
