Trainee butcher wanted in Ife East

Vacancy available: we are hiring a trainee butcher in Ife East, Osun State. Ideal candidate: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers Your main tasks: • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
