The role involves check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board. Ideal candidate: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings Full-time with occasional weekends.
