Urgent requirement: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Birnin Gwari, Kaduna State. You will work at an auto-components manufacturing unit. The role involves set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; write and edit G-code programs at the control; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances. What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls 4+ years on the tools preferred.
