Join our team: framing carpenter (Scotland)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a framing carpenter in Falkirk, Scotland. You will work in a cabinet-making workshop. On the job you will handle: • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish Requirements: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • Own basic hand tools 3+ years on the tools preferred.
