Immediate opening: we are hiring an excavator operator in Greeley County, Nebraska. You will work on a pipeline and trenching crew. The role involves: • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels Requirements: • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
