Immediate opening: we are hiring a power press operator in Suffolk County, Massachusetts. On a typical shift you will check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed. Requirements: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses Rotating shifts. $190 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
