Ideal candidate: • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Own basic hand tools Your main tasks: • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
