Estate gardener • Chase County, Nebraska

Great opportunity: we are hiring an estate gardener in Chase County, Nebraska. You will work in a public park. You will maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters. Requirements: • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
