Great opportunity: we are hiring a hoist operator in Ikwerre, Rivers State. The role involves: • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block Ideal candidate: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Understanding of hand and radio signals Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
