Join our team: we are hiring a collision repair technician in Wayne County, Michigan. The job is at a paint and panel shop. Requirements: • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop • Good eye for panel gaps and body lines Your main tasks: • Pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder • Treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection • Strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair • Read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates • Mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour • Feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray Overtime paid at a premium rate.
