Immediate opening: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Paulding County, Ohio. Day-to-day duties: • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses Ideal candidate: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding 1+ years on the tools preferred.
