Now hiring: we are hiring a confectioner in Payne County, Oklahoma. You should have: • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks Your main tasks: • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Score the top of loaves before baking • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
