Join our team: we are hiring a hoist operator in Walsall, England. The job is in a steel fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone Ideal candidate: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
