Vacancy available: gang bricklayer (Kaduna State)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Kagarko, Kaduna State. The job is on a scaffolded high-rise site. On a typical shift you will mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses. You should have: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours.
