Urgent requirement: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Waldo County, Maine. The job is in a demolition and site-clearance yard. Requirements: • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances The role involves carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger; keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly; clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble; excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $4,500 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
