Foundry operative — Thoubal

We are recruiting: we are hiring a foundry operative in Thoubal, Manipur. You will be based in the melting bay of a steel foundry. The role involves apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch. You should bring willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor; able to read simple casting drawings and job cards; knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding. 3+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer ₹14,500 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
