The role involves: • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication You should have: • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
