Nursery worker • North Tyneside, England

Vacancy available: we are hiring a nursery worker in North Tyneside, England. The job is at a landscaping company. On a typical shift you will rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers; operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds. Requirements: • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided.
