You should have: • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes • A good eye for level, plumb and even grout lines You will match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls; grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge; spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles; apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas; fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even; cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter.
