Join our team: we are hiring a retail butcher in Venango County, Pennsylvania. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry On a typical shift you will keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; season and marinate meat on request; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights.
