Milling machinist wanted in Barnsley

Immediate opening: we are hiring a milling machinist in Barnsley, England. On a typical shift you will set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control. You should have: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
