Heavy goods vehicle driver • Refugio County, Texas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a heavy goods vehicle driver in Refugio County, Texas. You will be based at a haulage company. Your main tasks: • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels You should have: • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements • Valid digital tachograph card • Current Driver CPC qualification card Performance bonus on top of base pay.
