Meat trimmer — Hartlepool

Vacancy available: we are hiring a meat trimmer in Hartlepool, England. You will be based in a hotel or restaurant butchery. On a typical shift you will monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife. Ideal candidate: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
