Vacancy available: we are hiring a retail butcher in Mitchell County, Kansas. You will work in a hotel or restaurant butchery. You should have: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling You will break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
