Immediate opening: we are hiring a cabinet maker in Balaghat, Madhya Pradesh. You will work in a bespoke joinery workshop. Requirements: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Own basic hand tools The role involves: • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours ₹600 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
