Urgent requirement: we are hiring a head baker in Cass County, Minnesota. The role involves: • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Score the top of loaves before baking • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe You should have: • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving 4+ years on the tools preferred.
