Excavator operator • Lea County, New Mexico

Great opportunity: we are hiring an excavator operator in Lea County, New Mexico. Requirements: • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs Your main tasks: • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger We offer $28 per hour plus benefits.
