Immediate opening: stainless steel welder (Taraba State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Lau, Taraba State. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Able to pass a weld test on the spot The role involves: • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. ₦1,050 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
