You should have: • Steady hand for edge profiling and a fine polished finish • Reliable timekeeping and able to work in a team • Knowledge of epoxy resin filling and colour matching Day-to-day duties: • Polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound • Seal natural stone against staining with impregnating sealers • Cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess before it sets • Restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish Six days a week, one day off.
