Immediate opening: we are hiring a CNC milling operator in Starr County, Texas. The job is in a toolroom. What we are looking for: • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade Day-to-day duties: • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing Rotating shifts.
