Gantry crane operator — Kajola

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Kajola, Oyo State. You will be based on a bridge and infrastructure project. The role involves: • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands Requirements: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • A good head for heights for tower crane work At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
