Sheet metal welder wanted in Ogle County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Ogle County, Illinois. You will be based on a structural steel site. Day-to-day duties: • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run Ideal candidate: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding 6+ years on the tools preferred.
