Urgent requirement: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. The job is at a container port and shipping yard. The role involves park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); keep a safe distance from overhead power lines. You should bring physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts; sound knowledge of rigging and slinging; valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent).
