Great opportunity: we are hiring a restaurant steward in Calderdale, England. The role involves carry loaded trays and serve plated dishes to the right table; coordinate order timing with the kitchen and the bar; check back during the meal and handle special requests; lay table covers with cutlery, napkins, glassware and crockery; greet guests, seat them and present the menu. What we are looking for: • Good knowledge of the menu, ingredients and beverages • Basic numeracy for handling cash, bills and change • Clear spoken communication and a polite, friendly manner At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
