We are recruiting: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Marathon County, Wisconsin. You will work at a drainage and utilities contractor. Ideal candidate: • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat Day-to-day duties: • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
