Join our team: we are hiring a godown forklift operator in Union County, Illinois. The job is in a large warehouse. Day to day you will load and unload pallets from trucks and shipping containers; carry out pre-shift checks on the forks, tyres, mast and hydraulics; position the forks square and tilt the mast to secure the load; top up the hydraulic oil and grease the mast chains; log damaged pallets, leaks and faults in the defect book; shrink-wrap and label palletised loads before dispatch. Requirements: • Comfortable working in cold store or chilled areas • Willing to wear steel toe-cap boots and hi-vis • Good awareness of load stability and health and safety Full-time with occasional weekends.
