Immediate opening: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Gbako, Niger State. The job is at a busy iron foundry. The role involves carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant. Ideal candidate: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal We offer ₦165,000 per month plus benefits.
