Plastering hand • Madison County, Alabama

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a plastering hand in Madison County, Alabama. You will be based on a busy domestic building site. The role involves polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush; apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls; clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets; dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming; apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat; mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency. You should have: • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites Part-time with flexible hours. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
