Immediate opening: pipe tig welder (Sokoto State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Bodinga, Sokoto State. You will be based in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. You will weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters. You should have: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight Full-time with occasional weekends.
