Turning centre operator • Jefferson County, Missouri

Now hiring: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Jefferson County, Missouri. On the job you will handle: • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) What we are looking for: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm Full-time with occasional weekends.
